Pho May: Authentic Vietnamese Pho in Hawaiian Gardens, CA

Pho May is our late night go to spot for that hot bowl of recovery soup. Their service & staff are friendly & efficient & make sure you're well taken care of. They always accommodate our big family group which I know can always be challenging, THANK YOU PHO MAY SERVERS & STAFF!!

Pho May gets all the important things right. More than the usual salty fare you get from other places, their broth is rich and packed with flavor. The noodles consistently have the right texture and firmness, which contributes tremendously to the soup's overall appeal and experience. The meats are of great quality and all of the bowls they offer come at a great value. I leave my wife with ordering the usual pho dac viet. I order the beef stew with egg noodles or I order any of their bowls with egg noodles, which they also do amazingly well. Pho May is a gem.

This place deserves more stars! It's delicious, very rare to find a spot that has very flavorful pho. Most places I have to ask for fish sauce or add my own sauces to make it taste good. This place doesn't require any additional sauces, eat it as served, it's amazing!

I visited Pho May after work and was glad to have time for a quick bowl. The wide bowl was perfect, allowing me to easily mix the garnishes, noodles, and meat. The broth was spot on--rich and flavorful. I requested extra lime, and they gave a generous amount, which elevated the dish. The meal was exactly what I needed to sweat out my sickness, and I finished the bowl with ease. A truly satisfying experience!

Continued to amaze me always. Love this place to bits. Been going here for years and it never disappoints! Super friendly staff and fast service, and they're open late! It's the best pho around for an affordable price as well! When you come here you're gonna feel welcomed and at home with a very warm safe atmosphere. I love pho may's beef ball pho most but each and every one of their pho bowls are amazing! I love pho may & and hope you do too

We went after a concert, I was craving Ramen, and luckily this location was open late. They are always super fast. And I love that you can pay your receipt through your phone online. The food was very good. Hit the spot. This was my first time trying their pad Thai, it taste a little bit more of like Tom Yum soup, because of the lemon grass. The noodles were a little soggy. But I still liked it. The flavor was good. I really liked also their fried eggrolls., I would get again. And they're just tasted very fresh like the broth was made not that long ago. I appreciate a very fresh broth.

Came here looking for a late night pho after going to a concert. This place was open and it turned out pretty delicious. They had pretty fast service and I liked their combo pho.

Two of my friends and I ate here on a brisk Saturday night and we were craving some warm authentic pho. The restaurant wasn't super busy yet at 8PM, so we were immediately seated (Although it got busier at 8pm when more groups and families came to eat here for dinner). I am fond of their ambiance with dimmed lights that matched their tall booth seats and their black bowls and plates. Their menu is only viewable by scanning a QR code printed on a paper with a sheet protector sleeve. When we were ready to order, we called one of the waiters and they kindly took our orders. I ordered their Veggie Pho (with Vegetarian broth). Our orders were ready within 10-15 minutes and I was truly impressed with the staff's promptness and food presentation. On the first sip, the vegetarian pho was truly flavor packed with a variety of crisp vegetable, diced tofu and natural umami flavor. I tried other pho places that serve vegetarian pho and so far, Pho May is my favorite place serving it uniquely in Hawaiian Gardens. I kinda wish the noodles were not cut short, but it's no biggie. The chopped green onion added more flavor and texture to the pho itself. According to my friend who ordered the Beef Combination Pho, it was flavorful, therapeutic and felt relieved after eating most of it. She couldn't finish her order, so she decided to make it to-go. Payment at the end was easy since the waiters have a card reader were you automatically choose your preferred tip without having to use a pen/pencil and calculate it yourself. We were finished within an hour and Pho May Hawaiian Gardens is now one of my favorite authentic Pho spots in the area.
